GMail not pushing?

Not sure if this has been covered or a solution found for the Inc 2 (from what I could find) My Inc 2 has decided it doesn't want to push my GMail anymore. It used to work just fine, but now I won't get any emails unless I manually sync. I've tried clearing data and that works for about 2 days then nothing. Any tips?

My main email is with hotmail. The same thing happens occasionally. My fix is to delete the account from the phone and then reconnect. I tend to think there is some kind of change server side and for whatever reason my phone can't push mail until the account is reset.

It was happening to me too. Might of been related to mu use of juice defender. I changed the settings to keep data always on and i have been going push email ever since. Idk if this is your problem. But if u are using a battery saving app that cuts your data when the screen is off, that could be your problem.

Thanks RicanMedic78 but funny thing I don't have an app like that. I refreshed it the other day and it started working normally, and per the usual, it just stopped. I might have to clear out some unused apps and see if that helps any.

I had the same problem a few months ago. I did a hard reset wiping the phone. No problems since.
