Gmail Not Syncing

Anyone else had this problem recently? Running stock 2.2 ROM. Gmail doesn't pull down mail automatically at all; the app won't even refresh mail upon opening. I've had my TBolt since the end of March and this has never happened. Haven't changed any settings; Google is still set to sync in the "Accounts and Sync" part of Settings.

I don't even see an option to change how frequently Gmail syncs, I just want things back to the way they were. Any suggestions?

I had this happen once before and here's what I did to fix it (don't blame me if this screws anything up):

Go into "Settings --> applications --> Manage applications". Find "GMail" and clear data. You may get a warning. When you exit out and go back to Gmail, it will initiate a FULL refresh and rebuild the mailbox.

Got mine working again.

I had this happen a couple times recently and got it working again by going to Accounts & Sync and toggling off/on the background data and Autosync options. If that doesn’t work, then try clearing the Gmail app data as Pete said above.

Thanks guys. I just cleared the gmail cache, restarted, and everything worked.
