Gmail Notification in Status bar not dismissing

Hope someone can help with this...On my old S5, after I opened an unread Gmail message, the Gmail notification icon in the status bar would automatically dismiss. On the S7, the Gmail icon notification remains after reading the email(s). The only way to dismiss the notification on the status bar is to manually roll down the status bar shade, and clear it.

Thanks!

Are you using Light Flow or another notification manager? Some users have reported similar problems.

Disabling Light Manager did the trick, Thanks !

All normal now. Hopefully there will be an LED App that works with the S7...I like being able to choose different color notifications for specific apps.

You can still use it the same way just go into settings and check off overlay, and you won't have that problem anymore. Use to happen on my G4 all the time

Hmm..Thanks. Don't see "Overlay" in either Light Manager or System options...Can you point me to it?

I know a lot of people like the idea behind these apps (Light Flow, Light Manager, et al) but they are notorious for causing problems of all sorts and then an entirely new round of problems with each new OS update.
