GMail Notifications

For some reason I stopped getting notified of new mail on my phone. I'm not real sure as to why because when I checked it still says to notify me. Anyone else run into this issue?

That happened too me this weekend. My auto-sync somehow got turned off.

Happened to me about a week after getting my Note 2, rebooted the phone and it was working again.

This use to happen to me alot on my HTC rezound. Not sure why. So far it has not happened on the note 2 (hopefully it won't either). Yet I'm rooted, not sure if that makes a difference.
