gmail problems

Since yesterday gmail app on my LG Ally has not been refreshing (resulting in no push notification of new email) I have to manually run the app and refresh. Did I mess up with some settings? On the account settings I have "email notification" option checked. But I only get the notification randomly once in a while.

i get stuck in Outbox sometimes.

Maildroid is working perfectly but the gmail app is acting up even though auto-sync and background sync are both enabled in the account & sync setting.

My gmail and everything Google related was down for three days, just started working on its own.
