Gmail push not working?

Logged into gmail on my computer and noticed about a dozen emails over the last few days that never got pushed to my phone. Several manual refreshes later and I got them. Again today I am not getting mail forwarded to my phone. Anyone else?

Think I found the problem. While configuring an app called Local Sync, I somehow turned off gmail sync. It should be working now.
