Gmail question?

I did something while deleting duplicate files...now my gmail which is just called mail in the app drawer wil only show mail from last 24 hours...i can create a shortcut so no big deal but I would like to know if there is a way to restore previous emails in that app from the app drawer.

If it's the official gmail app I think you can go into the settings and into your account settings and set how far back you want it to sync. Hope this helps.

I wonder if that is what download options means...I just thought that option would be for things I downloaded...will try thanks.

Edited to say that that worked thanks...the word downloads threw me off.
