Verizon Galaxy S8 Gmail quit syncing while on Wifi

For some reason, about two weeks ago, my emails stopped syncing as long as I am on Wifi. If I turn off my Wifi, they will sync.

I have "forgot" the network and turned phone off and restarted... turned router off, unplugged then turned phone back on and reconnected to Wifi but still didn't work. I cleared the cache on the gmail and email.

Any ideas? I am trying to avoid doing a factory reset.

Settings check permissions
Did you run maintenance? Sometimes that kills it trying to save battery

My emails are still not syncing while on WIFI. As soon as I turn off WIFI, they will sync. I have tried everything. I reset all permissions, made sure power saving was off, cleared the cache and data.

Stupid thought but you're not on mid battery saver mode are you?
