Gmail/Server Question

is there a way Gmail emails can be deleted from phone then do not appear in my outlook the next day.
I have set to delete from server and sync remote deletions is cked.

I'm personally using Thunderbird and have my Gmail account set up using IMAP and if I delete any emails from my Inc they also remove from my inbox in Thunderbird. Do you have your Outlook account setup via POP or IMAP? If POP then no, there's no way.

So if I set up my gmail as IMAP-email will delete from server if I delete from phone.

Side question--on phone have you looked @ K9--if so which do you like better. I have 2 emails one from work (on their server) & a gmail--I'm no totally happy w/Gmail & wld be willing to pay for better product.

Personally, I'm using Touchdown for my work email and very happy with it.

To answer your first question, yes, if you set up your Outlook to use IMAP for your Gmail, when you delete a mail from your phone, it will delete from your inbox. If you log into Gmail via the web, click on settings at the top right, then Forwarding and POP/IMAP, you must first enable IMAP then you will see the link at the bottom for configuration instructions.
