Gmail syncing stuck

So the past 2 days my Gmail syncing notification has been stuck. I've uninstalled my work account that's associated with Gmail which seems to be the problem. Is there any other solution? Because my work uses Gmail and I need it on my phone.

Are you only signed in to the one device? Have you cleared the cache partition as you rebooted?
