Gmail vs. Yahoo mail issue

I need your guys help. I have two email acounts on my Incredible, a Yahoo and Gmail. My problem is I never get my email notifications from my Gmail app. The yahoo app works fine for my Yahoo account.

Do I need different setting on my Gmail account? Any help would be great.

Check in Accounts and Sync to see if you have background sync set. Gmail pushes so you Gmail settings should be AutoSync and allow the device to do background syncs.

Agree with the Stig but I'd aslo go into the Gmail app and check the settings from within the app itself. After flashing to a different ROM I've noticed that sometimes the Gmail notifications are set to silent, or some other such nonsense...as if I wouldn't want to know when I get a Gmail.
