GN or Wait

I will throw in my 2 cents. I came from a Storm 2 and bought the GN on launch day. In short, I could not be happier.

My only complaint is that my employer still does not allow Corp email on Android, but the are considering ICS actively. So I do miss having my calendar, contacts and email sync automatically. I looked at the torch because that is important to me, but I just could not pull the trigger on that device, even after owning BBs for over 10 years.

Anyway, with the GN I have been like a kid in a candy shop. I had gmail since the days you needed an invite, and have grown to use their services. The integration of all of them on the phone makes it a pleasure to use, with voice being one org the bigger wins for me. The screen is beautiful, I have no connectivity problems. I love the widgets. I had apps on my BB that tried to replicate that effect, but they fell way short.

Web browsing is another huge gain, big screen and fast browser. It is the first phone that i have had that i think mobile browsing is viable. Coming from the Storm 1, you will win with this phone at every corner.

Wow! I'm impressed I thought I was the last to retire a Storm 1... I retired it for the GN.

Do it Do it!

I'm still using my Bb storm 1. Thing sucks, but I'm curious to see the Droid 4 before I decide on the nexus. Also heard some rumors of Verizon getting the note. I do like development, though. Hmmmm...

I know, I am a dinosaur. The phone still works for me.

I took the Storm 1 to over 20 different countires and, even google mapped my way around the streets of Venice. Never had a problem with it.

You and I might have the Nexus til 2020.... LOL...

It's may not be the first and last on VZW. VZW cares about one thing and one thing only....... $$$$$$$$

If they are happy with the revenue they have made on the GNEX, they will find a way to get it again.

Even though I didn't get the Nexus I'm hoping they make a ton of money on it so VZ gets another one. For the last couple of years it seemed like the other carriers were getting better phones quicker and then all of a sudden they got a trio of great, state of the art phones (anyone who puts down any of the Three (Nexus, Razr and Rezound) hasn't used them - they're all great phones and it's personal preference which one is "Best".

Coming from a Storm 1? Definitely.

I lasted 12 miserable months with that POS and was ELATED to switch to an OG Droid.

Props for lasting that long with that device!

(While I find my Nexus to be a phenomenal device I should let you know I typically switch out phones every 10-12 months. If you are looking for a phone to last you the full 24 months, it may be worthwhile to heed other's advice)

I think you should wait of those are your needs (camera)

My needs were completely customizable, streaming radio and video (including flash for amazon), big screen, no buttons, no skins.
