I will throw in my 2 cents. I came from a Storm 2 and bought the GN on launch day. In short, I could not be happier.
My only complaint is that my employer still does not allow Corp email on Android, but the are considering ICS actively. So I do miss having my calendar, contacts and email sync automatically. I looked at the torch because that is important to me, but I just could not pull the trigger on that device, even after owning BBs for over 10 years.
Anyway, with the GN I have been like a kid in a candy shop. I had gmail since the days you needed an invite, and have grown to use their services. The integration of all of them on the phone makes it a pleasure to use, with voice being one org the bigger wins for me. The screen is beautiful, I have no connectivity problems. I love the widgets. I had apps on my BB that tried to replicate that effect, but they fell way short.
Web browsing is another huge gain, big screen and fast browser. It is the first phone that i have had that i think mobile browsing is viable. Coming from the Storm 1, you will win with this phone at every corner.
