All right, so I admittedly am getting a bit far afield, but I can't help making this
comparison.
1985 - Steve Jobs fired from Apple.
1988 - Apple sues Microsoft over GUI issues.
1993- Apple loses suit.
Apple continues to ruin its business and starts to fail.
1997- Steve Jobs returns and in a year or so turns Apple around.
Apple proceeds to become the most valuable company in the world.
2011-Steve Jobs leaves Apple (obviously by passing away).
Apple immediately sues everyone in the tablet/phone business.
What are the chances that the businessman Tim Cook proceeds to obsess over "protecting IP" and ceases to innovate?
I feel like Apple's been down this road before... And like anyone that refuses to learn from their mistakes, Apple will get what it deserves.
