GNex Battery Life with GSM

noticing the Facebook SUCKING battery life out of my GNex like it's going out of style.... uninstalled to see how it improves... Facebook needs to seriously fix their app and errant background processes...

I've had my nexus a couple months now and I'm getting about 14 to 18 hours on moderate use. 2 days with very light use. And about 6 to 8 hours with very heavy use. I'm very impressed with this phone and happy I chose the GSM version.

For me it's not since my battery is lasting me and I have an extra micro USB wall charger at work and 1 in the truck just in case.

FYI:
Found Genuine Samsung 2000mAh battery and door on ebay for under $45.00 from highly rated sellers out of the Far East, but delivery is going to take awhile.

There not really to bad, I bought one of the oem Samsung 2000 mah batteries and back cover from ebay, the one who has like over 1,000 sold, from So. Korea to Florida was about a week.

I'm getting less than 8 hours on my GSM GNex...

Your screen appears to be always on, yet your not using any apps??
64% screen everything else is less than 10% ... that's very odd

If you tap on the graph, does it show if your phone is EVER idle? [look at the awake line, should be mostly black or at least a lot of black]

Umm..
This is my battery life, I am on EDGE though..

Just ordered a 3500/3800 mAh battery from Seidio w/ cover. Sure it will add bulk, but battery life is what i'm after.

Hmm...another odd graph where the display seems to be ALWAYS on....have you tapped on the graph to see if the phone ever sleeps?

Click on the screen usage. 4 hours of screen time is about average

Anyone having bad battery, check the color of your wallpaper. A solid black will give you the best battery. Light wallpaper and maybe certain colors will kill the battery. I'm in HSPA+ and get between 14-20hrs battery.

Just a hint.... Verizon has their Galaxy Nexus Extended battery on sale for like 25 bucks... at least that's what I paid late last week....

Since 4.0.4 I've had incredibly battery life - getting 18 hours with about 3.5 hours of screen on time. I have good signal where I live and work, but I've never had my GNex die on me during the day, even with really heavy use including tethering

I easily can make it over 12 hours with normal to above normal use. Am usually sitting at 40-50% at midnight after taking it off the charger at 8am. This is with the extended battery.

I also bought the Samsung 2000mAh extended battery and just leave it on. For the negligible thickness increase you get a few hours extra juice, which brings peace-of-mind.

It's lightyears better on battery than the LTE one, which I had before this one but returned because of its 3G reception issues (not 4G like was reported on release).

All i can say i leave work with just advice thirty percent, that's with music going all day and frequent screen on time, also with border line no service.

My Sprint phones needed to b4 charged at lunch time in order to get through my ten hour day
