Gnex GSM Warranty Repair

The headphone switch on my GSM (UK) Gnex isn't working. It always thinks the headset is still plugged in and I can't talk unless I'm using Bluetooth, headset, or speaker phone. I have used canned air and also used a q-tip with a little alcohol to clean it and it's still an issue.

This is a simple warranty repair, but the USA version of the site won't support repair for the GSM version.

Has anyone shipped their phone to the UK for warranty repair? What was your experience? Is there a better way?

Well, here's my experience so far.

I called Samsung UK at 011-44-845-6726-7864 and they told me to call their repair center.
I called the repair center at 011-44-121-616-7209 and they told me they can't fix devices from the USA because they run into issues shipping the device back. They told me to call Samsung back.

Since I don't know anyone in the UK to handle the repair, I'm going to replace the part myself.

I've ordered the new part from here, and I'll let you know how it goes.
