was looking around and saw a video on youtube about this its intriguing. I've always used launcher pro so i wanted some feedback on the launcher. thanks guys!

I just started using the Go Launcher EX at noon today.I was using Launcher Pro Plus.
So far Im diggin it ha :)
I have even themed it with a glass theme and trying out Go Sms Pro as well
The settings to be are easy to get use to laid out similar to LPP. So far 5 hrs using it and no issues with the app or addons

I had been using LPP but switched to GO Launcher about a month ago. Combined with Colorize Widget and I don't miss LPP at all. If he ever does the complete rewrite he has mentions, I might go back.

I also like GO SMS too.

thanks guys, i was going to try it when i finally upload the new CM7 update later tonight and rework my entire phone. im sure it'll be a good time hah

I've been using it for a few months and it's very smooth and lag free. The biggest thing I like about it is if you have your GMail app on one of the available dock bar spots and have the notifier add-in installed, if you have 3 gmail accounts and get one new email in each account, the Gmail icon will have a number 3 on it, so it shows you unread counts on all your gmail accounts. This is a big plus in my book.

Once I got my hands on Go Launcher EX, I never looked back to anything else. The UI of it, is wonderful. The themes can be more influenced and fluid then other themes I've seen for ADW. I never was a big fan of LauncherPro, I was more into Zeam and ADW.

Now that I have Go Launcher EX, I think I'll be sticking with it. :D

I go back and forth between that and sense.

I wish there were more widgets and they weren't as cartoony as they are now.
I don't want to buy beautiful widgets, etc. because that basically does what sense has.

Sometimes I notice a lag and just reboot.....
I noticed though when using this with their contacts app that incoming calls don't always show the caller id name and photo which confuses me at times.

I switched to Go Launcher EX from Sense about two months ago and have no regrets. At first I thought I would miss the Sense widgets but there are so many free widgets in the marketplace anymore I was able to find alternatives (and sometimes better alternatives) easily.

In fact, now that I have no use for Sense I'm pondering whether to get the Droid X2. The dual core 1GHz proc and qHD display are very tempting.

I liked Go Launcher, but I'd have consistent issues when trying to access the app drawer - it would FC to the home screen all the time. I just haven't emailed dev yet about it. I really like being able to have up to 9 homescreens. I use LP and that's probably what I'll stick with.

I'm using it now. I've tried other Launchers, but this one seems to be the best.
Occasionally some of the home screen apps get screwed up. For instance if I click on a particular app, another app would open instead. After a quick reboot, the problem is fixed. I run across that issue every onece in a while.

Actually with Go Launcher you can have a max of 30 homescreens

What are the Sense widget replacements you are using?

quick update:
been on it for about a week er so and i have to say i really do love it, from the themes just to the non force closes and all. works really well for me!

I had been using the Weather Bug Elite widget. Fancy Widget Pro was free on the Amazon Apps store a while back so I've been using that.
