Hey so after months of roming, (which was fun) Decided just to go back to stock, I like it. Now, since stock Thunderbolt is now gingerbread, what's the best radio to use, can someone link me to it?

Thanks! :)

Also in the stock Thunderbolt, is there a way to remove the background of app text on the homescren?

If you are going back to stock it wont matter because if you are not rooted you can not use any other radios but what is installed with the RUU or the OTA update.... Also if you plan on rooting the stock you will have issues because the OTA will continue wanting to update device and this will lock device up if you are rooted..

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

I think he means a modified debloated stock ROM. There are some floating about. I wouldn't unroot given the option because then I couldn't Chuck Norris HTC logger and would be stuck with crap like blockbuster.

Honestly I'm using bamf forever 1.10 and it's like a new phone. Runs just as fast but has more eye candy, freedom, and slightly better battery life.

For stock modified though check to see which radios that specific ROM works with. If it came out in the past month then the latest should work. Radios only ever need to be changed if you're having issues.

Nono guys. Here's what I mean, sorry for not elaborating:

I have a backup on my phone from when I first rooted back in March of this year, I want to go back to stock, but the current radio I have ONLY works on AOSP roms, so I need the latest and best radio that works on the gingerbread thunderbolt which is what is considered stock now.

Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites! MR3 GB radio from 2.11.605.3, 1.48.00.906w_1, 0.01.78.0906w_2

Ok 2 more questions upstream,

1. Is there a way in the stock Thunderbolt, is there a way to remove the background of app text on the homescren?

2. Is it possible to remove recent apps bar in the notification bar on the stock rom? Perhaps with a mod?

probably gotta search for the mod.... about the tex in the home screen icons you cant only app launchers do that like

One more thing it's been awhile since I've gone to Hboot, how do I do it again?

1.if you have a costume rom hit power/reboot/bootloader (let Fastboot sit for about 2 sec then press power to go into Hboot).

2.if not turn off the phone and press vol down and power at the same time hold untill you have reached hboot (dont need to press power here your already in Hboot)

Thanks it all worked out, but I just saw this new MIUI and it looks great might try it out, does the GB radio you gave me work with it?

For some reason the radio you gave me does not work with my thunderbolt but the version of my tbolt is:

2.2.1, so it's not GB yet, might I have to get a froyo radio then download GB then get your radio?

If so, can you link a froyo radio?

well a stock Thunderbolt is GB lol ... just get a Froyo radio http://www.multiupload.com/2VDSQ6SBAZ drag it to your sdcard and flash it in hboot. no need to go to a gb rom

upstream not sure if your knowledgeable about MIUI, but I wiped 3 times and flashed and it just dosent boot up and stays in splash screen, I read up on it and it says that if you have custom bootanimation it'll end up in bootloop, I restored another rom so I have room to work with so how can I get rid of it so I can flash MIUI?

edit: tried to install again and noticed it installed way too fast, yet it's a 100 MB file?

edit: got it, had to update clockwork, silly me, thanks.
