Going to check out the Note Edge & Note 4 today

I have the note edge. It wasn't due to choice, I actually went in for the 4 but it was out of stock. Then the salesman let me play with the edge and I have to say I really loved it! Plus I have 14 days to return in case I change my mind.

So far, I'm love it. The shortcuts on the edge are actually really useful and the way the camera push the button onto the edge screen creates a fantastic viewfinder. It took some getting used to holding it (I have come from the 5s, a tiny phone in comparison) but that's not an issue now. Personally having played with them both, you can't go wrong with either, it comes down to weather you want to pay the extra for the edge (or in my case which one is in stock lol).

I have had a Note 4 and Note Edge in the last month. Multitasking works but realistically its useless on a 5.5/7 screen. Doesn't work with all apps anyway. I had problem with apps accidentally opening on the side of the Note 4. Didn't happen on the Edge, i really liked it screen and the edge is nice but not as white and is oversaturated v my IP6. Watching say Netflix the colour is more natural on IP6. The edge battery is only on par or less than my IP6. But battery drain on standby is not good, drop 10% overnight, IP6 0%. Powered it off for 2 days on 100% went dead. Edge is wider and not as easy to hold but a bit shorter. I mainly used it in my office so didn't use a case. If it was my main phone in and out of car and pocket a case would be needed and would make it even wider. Neither were as smooth as my IP6 although the Edge improved a bit on Lollipop. I ended up selling all 3 and have a iPhone 6 Plus 128GB arriving Monday, go figure

Don't but the flip case if you use Nova it makes it crash all the time.

Lol. I went the opposite way. 128 6+ to the Note Edge. 6+ sits on desk as a CNNgo streaming internet device.

I also prefer the Note 4. And accessories is a big part of that preference. I love my S-view case and there isn't one for the Edge. Now, what the edge provides on the side is comparable, but I like it better on the front of the device with the S-view window.

Just picked up the Note Edge and you are right. Many of the features from the s-view cover are on the edge panel. I'm still getting used to this device, it is a little awkward at first, but I think I'm going to like it.
