ordered mine 8am on 4/1.

for those who got their phones on verizon already -- how long was it after yours billed before you received your phone? just wondering what to expect -- i got regular 2 day shipping and wondering if i might get it fri. if not, do they move on saturday with 2 day shipping or will i be stuck waiting all weekend

Hey man wow!! When did you pre-order yours? I also am waiting for the 64GB Gold and I pre-ordered on 4/1 at 330am est 30 mins after it opened.

WOOOOOOO I just checked mine and I had it billed to my account and I see an equipment charge and I just checked order status and it has changed to Your order is currently being processed. Please check back later. and it shows the phone now getting ready!!!! I also checked the status from my pre-order email and it now says - Your order is processing. Your shipping details will be available soon. Oh my god maybe we will get them by Friday or Monday!!!!!!!!

I know that at my work if we ship something on a say Thursday for 2day deliver ups they will not deliver Saturday that it will skip to Monday. My husband received his phone already and it was shipped via fed ex whom I'm not as familiar with but his phone was scheduled for Friday delivery, we werent home and they rescheduled it to Monday for delivery.

Did your verizon phone ship the same day it billed? or the next day?

I actually never saw my husband's phone status say processing. The day we checked it had already shipped so I can't really say, i'm sorry.

How did you pick 2day shipping? They gave us overnight for free: i didn't even get to pick. Idk how or why but I'm almost positive that is what we have.

So I'm with you flaming as I only have 2 day shipping as well because the overnight was like 15 extra and I didnt want to spend that. I did call however yesterday and ask if they can upgrade and guy said he would send request to Fedex to note attached to my order for overnight, but wouldn't guarentee they would accept so we'll see when I receive my tracking number.

Wanted to also ask you since we are both waiting together, when you get yours are you planning on doing a factory reset or cache clear as so many people seem to be having battery issues or are you just going to roll with it and see how it goes? Also when you start it up are you going to do a restore of everything through lollipop option or are you going to act as a new phone and start from scratch???

im gonna roll with it straight out of the box -- seems like verizon phones are having fewer issues than tmobile -- plus these phones being shipped later are going to get some updates from the start that weren't available 2 weeks ago. im not going to try to fix something before its broken.

not sure what you mean on the restore -- im coming from an iphone, so i think i'll just start fresh besides transferring my numbers through the backup.

I ordered them over the phone and I'm pretty sure it was free overnight. Let me check my invoices...I also did the edge program do maybe that is why?

As far as the battery issue I will probably just see how it goes. My husband hasn't had any issues with draining. He was a bit bummed that the case he picked (inciprio I think) from amazon did not work when on the phone to use that cheap wireless charging pad someone had started a thread about.

I am not sure if I want to start from scratch or not. My concern is making sure I get all my pictures backed and I have tons of files on my phone that I need to make sure I keep too.

Does anyone have rec's on cloud companies? I have 1tb free with one drive for a year for having Microsoft 365 but not sure if I will keep 365 next year which thus would remove my cloud storage and it keeps a dates scroll of all your photos and even if you make a folder and move pics in they still stay in the main carousel and I don't like that because visually I like to see my photos organized in folders. And if they don't move completely how do I know if I put them in a folder or not. I have amazon prime which now provides free picture upload but I don't care for the interface as much. I don't like drop box but have heard good things about sugar sync. I would like to find a place that my husband and I can both log into from our phones and upload together and I can see all our photos in one place on the computer.

Hey I just got my tracking number as my S6 64GB has shipped this morning and its through FedEx of course. And I guess the overnight didn't work as its 2-day and scheduled to arrive on Monday, ugh, well at least its early, but would have liked to have had it tomorrow oh well! I didn't get the Verizon email yet, I actually just checked my account and the number was there. Let me know if you see same... Man now I almost wish I would have paid for overnight what a joke!

Same here. Goto your confirmation email. Using that link you should get your tracking info. Mine due to arrive Monday. Those who paid for one day should get it 3 days earlier

There was a promo running on 4/1 that entitled people to overnight shipping. Mine though showed I ordered on 4/22 and because of that did not get put through as next day. Kinda frustrated about that but at least it is coming early!
