Goldcard?

I just did the simple one click root on my inspire and was wondering if the goldcard I had to make is still on my sd card or is my card free to use to storage music, photos and such on it?

Also, can I reinstall and use htc sync again after the root process? Is there another way to get my music from itunes back on my inspire without htc sync if I can't use it after a root?
