This thread is solely for the purpose of figuring out who has that "golden Epic 4g". This means that all those GPS issues and capacitive button issues? Yeah, that's right, you don't have these problems.

NOTE: This is not an issue thread! There have been other threads created for that topic and I really do not want to have duplicate threads. ;)

My first post was to state some rules:

I indeed have a golden Epic, but it took 3 times to get it :)

No issues here... first one out of the box. GPS works great... phone will only get better with 2.2

Mine's gold if you don't count missed keystrokes on the physical keyboard :\

Plus, I'm returning it in the next couple week.s

So far, so good. Looks like the problems seem to be defective products and not full on issues like what good ol' Stevie Job's phone had (although I heard this issue was remote too, but I'm not sure)

So, you're going to the G2?

I have to. Sprint service is no good, Verizon is too expensive, AT&T sucks/I hate it out of principle. G2 it is...

Well then, I bet that phone will work out perfectly for you. Are you going to post your impressions?

My Epic functions as SamSprint intends.
Everything I have an issue with "is a feature, not a bug."

Nobody has a Golden EPIC with upload speeds stuck at 150kbps or below.

As much as this is a problem it might be a Sprint issue more than a Epic issue.

I believe I have a golden Epic ... If I dont use Gmaps lol... Sprint nav perfect...
