Good battery saving kernel?

Received error in CWR trying to install the zip you sent:

E:Can't open /sdcard/imoseyon_leanKernel_extreme_v0.92.zip (bad)

Installation aborted.

Sigh.

Normal 1.0 up and running thanks to Forgetful. Going to try the 0.92 version of extreme if I get time here at work, or perhaps at home.

 for you buddy!

Thats for you, Forgetful :D

Thanks. With Bamf and that Kernel my really good battery days are similar to below.

-streamed a 43min TV show over wifi
-surfed the internet
-played angry birds
-played blackjack game offline
-miscellaneous messing around

-4G/wifi data was off for 10 hours while I was sleeping. Other time was basically all wifi
-No calls and a few texts
-ROM = Das BAMF 1.4
-Kernel = imoseyon 0.7 undervolted
-screen at 25%
-Email sync every 4 hours, weather every 3, No other syncs.

Db you got your thunderbolt finally??? cool. I keep coming back to ziggys kernel. I tried andernal(spelling) and it went through my battery like crazy.

I think all these kernels depend on what you have them set at and what rom your using to. Some rooms seem to use more battery as well.

I'm having amazing battery life with Adrynalynes Bamf 4.4.2 kernel. Max cpu at 1113... Min cpu 245 using on demand.

Same here, good battery life with the stock battery, basically same setcpu settings with a profile for screen off (700 max), conservative governor

Same here except I'm using 245 for max and min... Screen off.

Nice how's that working out for you? I listen to music or use gps sometimes with screen off so i dont want them to FC. I ran some tests and everything worked perfectly down to 806 max, but when i went lower and had multiple things running i encountered some closes. (screen on however)

No problems that I've noticed. I don't use anything when my screens off besides phone calls or data syncing. I actually was thinking that the other day though.... How low can the cpu go and still have the phone functioning

I put it through some pretty rough testing - i was driving to a wedding so navigation, texting, calls, and a small amount of web browsing (when i wasn't doing the driving). Started force closing after a while but returned to normal when i put the max back up to 996 or 1036 can't remember which it was.

Yea, that's with the screen on though. I meant with the screen off. At 245 for both levels. I have no problem receiving emails, texts, phone calls, bluetooth, wifi and playing music off of Pandora. I wonder if the lowest settings affects anything on the phone while the screens off. ... so far nothing that I've noticed. What I'm trying to test is how low I can set the cpu while the screens off before it affects any performance on the phone... so far I'm good.

oh true i got mixed up, but what i meant was i was using gps with screen off (it was a long drive and didnt have to see turn by turns for like 50+ miles), and while doing that i received calls and texts, and i had a few fcs that happened right as i went back to screen on - but i got it all worked out by raising up the screen off max (in a typical days use tho, with screen off, i do almost nothing but sync or listen to some mp3s/fm radio). hope that clears it up a little :-\

I replied to you via Twitter, but yes I did get my Thunderbolt. 1 years were ending and I was in a tight spot so I called a CSR and asked if they could move my update up by a week and get me on a 1yr. They did no problem... and voila its in my hands :)

I'm enjoying the tweaking aspect of this phone... its alot of fun!
