Well I finally replaced my Optimus V with the Galaxy Reverb. To be honest the only reason I retired my Opt V was because it was starting to have hardware problems. The Opt V is an exceptional phone especially with the support of the dev community. Thanks to all that helped me learn how to create, edit, and customize ROMs, I have learned alot. I still have much to learn and will be back to Optimus V forum for the great resources of knowledge and willingness of everyone l to help others. Some of the Devs I would like to personally thank are:

mrg666
LeslieAnn
BobZhome
ThatGuyLurkin
EarthnFire78
sellers86

There are many others that have helped me along the way and I would like to say 'Thanks to All!!!' I appreciate all the work everyone has done to help keep this great phone going. :)

Thanks Mirage... you became my ROM guy after Jerry stopped. I am moving on to Samsung S3 for wife and Nexus for myself. Optimus V was my first smart phone and u guys are the best :)

I wanna reclaim my Optimus V from my brother so badly, but I don't think he's gonna wanna swap it with the Slider. I miss it :(

Im leaving the optimus v for the HTC one v. Thanks to all the devs that made the optimus v an updated and tolerable phone lol without mirage I wouldn't have lasted this long with the OV.

You guys are all amazing and the community here taught me a lot. Thanks for everything!

Just got a Kyocera RiSE last Wednesday from a local Best Buy store for $50. I haven't activated it yet, but so far (while running on WiFi), it's a great replacement for my V. I don't plan on completely retiring the V. I may still mess with ROMs on it, and/or just keep it as a backup device in case my RiSE somehow gives up too soon. I'm using the last few hundred or so minutes of talk time I have left until Monday :D then I'll activate the RiSE on VM.

This has been a great community to observe and interact with. I'll be around here for a while. :)
