I think the thing to look at with this communication is that we have something that confirms we get to keep our data.

As much as I want the phone in my hands, I can relax now and whenever it comes, it comes.

Yeah, I caved in to the uncertainty and cancelled my BB order and ordered through VZW.

I called Verizon and they noted it in my account just in case best buy gives me problems

Per VZW preorders can no longer be billed to account. Just another way VZW can make their customers lives a hair more complicated.

I don't find it any additional effort to provide a CC# to Verizon. Maybe I'm missing something but why is this a big deal?

Agree. If you don't have the money at the time of preorder then so be it. Suck it up and wait until you do. That's half the reason America has so much debt as it is

Everyone needs to relax about when they're gonna get their phone. Understand that when you PREORDERED the phone, you knew it wasn't going to ship until July 9th. Why be so nervous about something you can't control? Relax and live your life. The phone will show up soon enough.
