Good Lock is back, mostly

I have it running works really well. But you have to follow the instructions.

For those that don't remember or never knew about good lock it was Samsungs official nerdiness like version of substratum, much lighter though. They stopped development when N came out and people were not happy.

Oh wow I forgot about when I used to be able to change screen scroll settings. Lol. Thanks. I'll have to check that out.

s it's been improved. it now has a back gesture, routines seem well done and use them alot, the lock screen is better but almost unnecessary because of biometrics. and it's stable. It has really been thought out.
Oh, and the ability to remove the stupid persistent alarm notification.

I tried installing one .apk, the one named good luck, did not help, there are a bunch of files there, where are the instructions?

The link has instructions. Basically, install all the apk's. Good lock will not open, the rest do all the work.

In the US Samsung app store

I'm trying it out. I can't remember why I didn't like good lock in the beginning. So far I like the task changer.

Does this let me get rid of the HORRIBLE Rolodex and replace it with a grid like old android and BlackBerry 10 had?

I downloaded it cause I'm kinda bored and actually and mainly to try the Task Changer... I didn't like the stock set up and think this layout easier to go through the select. I'd like it to moved between cards faster though or to be able to adjust speed. Did read a review or two saying maybe buggy with apps like YouTube. We'll see.

Tasker is all I'm using. I tried the lockstar option for a little bit, but I didn't like having to double tap home button to get from the aod screen, then put in my code, and then swipe the lockstar screen. The quickstar I just couldn't figure out.

Just the fact that I can change the color of the notification panel and icons is a huge plus. It was one of the main reasons I didn't use certain themes.
Now, if the only added functionality to customize the messages app...

I was playing with that just now and came up with something try... A little more softer on the eyes from bright white and didn't like the dark option they had.

Could you explain more. I have none of these issues. My aod and lock screen work exactly the same as before. The only difference is I have options to customize my lock screen. The only place I double tap is on the apps I selected for me lock screen.

It's not an issue. It just seemed like I was having to go through extra screens to unlock my phone. Which I was and I discovered that it wasn't the good lock. It was the music player I use. I have it set to put the album art and player controls on the lock screen.

Yeah, mine does that. It was irritating so I turned it off
