So I just spoke to two seperate online reps and also called my local BB where i pre ordered! When i asked if they will have the phone on the 19th they all had the same response "Actually, we were guaranteed by HTC that we will have more then enough phones to fulfill our pre orders on the 19th!" Obviously they didnt say that exact wording but looks like i dont have to worry about BB missin the launch date! And for anybody who's curious the insurance will be $9.99 a month! What a steal!

Would that be the same price for insurance on a phone bought off contract??? I've never bought off contract before.
Thats best buy protection plan.. its $9.99 a month for all cell phones
AT&T insurance is $6.00 or $5.00 per month
There are no deductibles and you get unlimited replacements and it will cover everything except for theft... Including water damage

Well yeah theyre obviously not having any stock yet, especially since its only the 15th but i can probably say the stock is ready to leave an HTC warehouse or on its way already. 3 people said they will have plenty of stock so im going to believe them. I was 1st pre order at my store so im basically as guaranteed as you can get
You can buy the Geek Squad smartphone insurance through BB. $9.99 a month, doesn't cover loss, theft or water immersion. $0 deductible however, and you can cancel it anytime.
I've had really good luck with Squaretrade on warranties. You can buy anytime within 30 days after phone purchase. PAy all at once or monthly. One of the things I like with them is you can cancel and they will prorate what you paid. So if you sell your phone, you can get a refund for the unused months, or you can transfer the contract to the new seller--I've done that to my advantage when selling before, too.
I think i'm going to check out the Securranty warranty. $99 for 2 years with a $50 deductible. Covers accidental damage + immersion. Doesn't cover loss or theft, don't think i'll let the phone out of my sight though.
Anyone receive any shipping info for BB online pre-orders? The 2 reps I chatted with did not have this information. My order is still in process with an ETA of 4/19-4/22.
It doesn't, but it does.
Legally, the plan says it doesn't, but there are a good amount of stores that'll send it out anyway.

You can't get the protection plan if you bought the phone elsewhere, unless it's an iPhone. Of course, under manager discretion, if you come in with a phone that looks brand new within 30 days of purchase, they may let you add the plan. It's $9.99 a month for 2 years or $170 upfront for 2 years. No deductibles and unlimited claims. Whenever something happens to it, they'll replace it as long as you can bring the phone in -- including water submersion.
Considering when I preordered at Best Buy they said I would get the phone on release day, I figured I was already Ok. Thanks for the update.

Yes me too but with all the crazy supply issues that were going on earlier i was worried Best Buy wouldnt be first in line to get the phones in stock
