I know phone banks aren't good for phones. I don't use 'em all that often. Just a few times a year when I go to a convention.

What's the best phone bank for the S9+?

I use the OEM fast charge one. Works well and is slimish. Mophie makes some good ones too. Mophie actually makes a wireless one, which is dope. Just don't go generic with charging kit.

@Squarrow

That's cool! OEM Fast charge one? Do you have a link for that one? And is it compatible for S9+? I'll also have to look up Mophie or maybe Anker?

Why would they be bad for the phone? It's just voltage and current just like with plug in chargers...

Because I heard that phone banks aren't good to use all the time for your phone. because it's not good for the phone.

I've had this around 4 months now and it great. Is definitely a good bang for your buck and a lot cheaper than that Samsung official one and it's also nearly 2x the capacity.

A big selling point of this one to me was that it charged with USB C so I don't need to have an extra cable I can just use whatever I use on my phone to charge the battery and it actually charges with quick charge itself so it doesn't take forever to fill up the battery pack like some others do

CKwik is right, they regulate voltage and charge your devices accordingly just like a wall charger. Provide some info backing up why/how they damage phones if you suspect they do so.

While Mophie was really the first reputable name Aukey and Anker are good banks now. I've had both Anker and Aukey.

My first Anker 10000mah I wore out both usb ports on and since it was just a few days out of warranty Anker refused to replace it for me(by by Anker banks for me).

Bought an Aukey 16000mah, the first one swelled up and lasted less then one charge on my S8+ after about 6 months. I partly suspect it swelled up and went bad because my daughter was constantly using it to charge her iPad Mini 2 WHILE she used the iPad. Now I've got a 20000mah warranty replaced bank from Aukey, which my kids been banned from using at all, that's going strong.
