Been a Samsung Galaxy Note user since Note 3.
Upgraded my Note 9 to a Note 10 plus a few weeks ago, a christ what a disappointment.
Problems
1 Really bad standby time battery drain.
2 screen stutter ( even in safe mode)
3 Biggest problem, vibrating rear of phone as I was watching a Video. Felt like it would vibrate itself to death.
4 Poor network reception.
5 ******* useless Fs and face unlock.

Out of curiosity I decided to get myself a iPhone 11 pro max as jesus what a difference, fantastic battery life and none of the above problems. Also a flat screen.

Anyone else think the mote 10 plus is a step down from the note 9?

Nope.... Only giving up the Note 10 plus to get a Note 20 Ultra otherwise no issues.

I'm getting 10 SOT and a day battery on my SD Note 10+ my Note 9 was almost similar
No disappointment from me .

I hope you had a new Note 10 and not a refurbished. It sounds like someone would have these type of issues if they bought a used phone. I have also been a user of the Note since the Note 4. I have none of those issues with my Note 10+, and any beforehand. I don't think you gave it a chance. you may have some battery drain in the beginning when you purchase a new phone because you're getting familiar with it. It's your new thing, your new toy. The next one up for me is a Note 20. You're not going to catch me getting any type of iPhone, no way!

No issues with my Note10+. Very happy with the performance compared to the 8 and 9 which I still have and use fairly regularly.

Can't say that I've ran into those same problems...

having been an original Note owner, and a subsequent Note owner since then, I can definitely say that the only thing I miss is a dedicated 3.5mm jack, but I have great LDAC wireless headphones so I don't run into a problem at all. It sucks that you have run into those problems, and like another reply stated, maybe there was a defect or refurbish issue with your phone.

I have also owned, simultaneously, and iphone since the iphone 7 Plus, X, and not the 11 Pro Max, and they have their differences, but one thing I've always noticed with iphone, especially with the battery, it shows 100% for a really long time, but once it drops to 99% and you're using it, the battery drains as fast as a freshly declogged pipe.

I can't wait for the Note 20, and see the upgrades (hopefully some promising ones) to come.

I have the Note 10 Plus and recently got an iPhone 11 Pro Max. I think the poster of this thread may have bought a defective phone. Even with my Exynos version I'm still getting 9-10 hours SOT. No problems whatsoever. The other day I started using my 11 Pro Max at 50% battery level. After 3+ hours of use it was still 50%. The 11PM has great battery life. I'm quite pleased to have made the change from being a unicorn to being a zebra. Thank you very much Mustang7757.( I'm curious. Do you drive them or actually ride them 🙂?)

Had note 8,9and 10plus just sold it today... getting iphone 11 pro max tomorrow... for me the note camera cant come close to iphone... i have a 2.5 year old daughter and the note can never get a good pic of her.. i used a iphone 11 and it was able to get her picture no problem... that right there made me switch... my last iphone was a 5s

Lol, did you even try to do a warranty exchange? Very happy with my Notes 2, 3, 8 and 10 plus. Funny how you think Apple is an improvement. Lol!

Nearly sounds like you got a fake/counterfeit one, been very happy with mine and haven't come across anyone with same amount of problems with it as yours

My Note 10+ is absolutely the best phone I've ever owned. I've had several iphone users try out my phone and really like it and just love the camera.

Sorry to see the issues ...it sounds to be phone issue not Note 10 + common issues at all ..I think the 10+ is the best Note to date ...

I'm sorry you had those problems with your Note, but at least you got a phone that works for you now! That's great! Enjoy your iPhone 11 Pro Max!

So, with all those problems, did you try to return the device? Especially after owning the Note 9 did you think those were normal things with the Note 10?

Been an note user since note 2 and only think 10+ is best of them all. Am enjoying this phone a lot. The earlier note I liked a lot is Note Edge. I have seen iPhones fake the battery percentage initially and then drains fast. I hope someone to sue Apple about it soon. As far as the camera, I enjoy note camera a lot. With pro camera mode I can capture my kids even when they are on move without any problem.

I'm surprised that it took you 2.5 years to make the switch?

Why the snippy responses. He expressed his experience and what he did to satisfy his needs. I have the 11 Pro Max and the LG v50. Love them both but each has abilities that differ from each other. I see the same snippy remarks on iMore regarding Android phones. It's fine to think your choice is the best for you. BTW, I said "he" when referring to the OP. No disrespect intended.
