I don't know anyone other than my mom and an aquaintance that has a pixel 2. There's like 4-5 people who got the iphone X at work

I work at a T-Mobile call center and only once when asked what phone I use has a customer known what I was talking about.

I dunno, everyone seems to know of the iPhone X. I've had people ask me what phone I have and react like "wtf is a Pixel 2 XL?"

Well yeah iPhone is very well known for the common person. It just will vary from who you ask. The people you ask have no idea what a Pixel is. People I tell that i have a Pixel say "Ah yeah that is Google's phone isn't it?"

Just depends on your audience .
