Google account signing error after the wipe/factory reset

Hi I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I keep getting the message unknown error and it wont let me sign into the phone via google account..after the wipe/factory reset. what I can do?

Welcome to Android Central! Is this your phone? Did you get it used from someone else? If so, did they properly remove their Google account prior to the reset? That has to be done in order for the reset to be considered authorized. Otherwise, Google's Factory Reset Protection will kick in, and after the reset is done, it will prompt the user to enter the previous Google account's name and password.

Yes is my phone long time i am not used.last week i try to open i forgot pattern password. i thought solution is wipe and factory reset. after don the reset i give my mail id and password this is happen.several days i am trying to open still the same

It's probably asking for your Google account and password after the factory reset. Did you forget that too? Or did you use a completely different Google account to link to this phone back when you first used it?

First i forgot the password after i change the password. the same account i using other mobile also,that mobile no problem for sighing.Problem only galaxy s7 only please help me

i am a Indian wen i am in India (Last August) used it after the vacation i come back my job country UAE. My job place not allow to use camera phone that i kept mobile in our UAE office last week i go back to my office i try to open the mobile this all things happen

yes i thing first i try to login a different google id in my thought that was this all thing happen

Sorry, this is a bit confusing to me. Are you saying you forgot the password for this account, so you changed it, and it won't sign in using that password? Or are you saying that you changed the password, and then forgot that new password?

Also, are you saying that this account is the one that was originally linked to the phone? Or are you trying to sign in with a different Google account (i.e., the one you use on the the other phone)? The phone is asking for the Google account that was originally linked to the phone, so if that one is different from the one on your other mobile, you can't try to sign in using that other mobile's Google account.

No,new password i am not forgot still using laptop and other mobile but not working at SAMSUNG GALAXY S7 EDGE

same time two mobile one account is not possible ?

Sorry, I'm still not sure what you mean. Do you mean that you still remember the new password you created?

It's also important to know if this account is the one that was originally linked to the phone, as I mentioned in the previous post. If the Google account that was originally linked to the phone is different from the one you're currently using on your laptop and other mobile, and if you forgot the password to this original Google account, then you'll have trouble trying to get into the S7 edge.

Hey can someone help me please . I've got a S7 edge from my cousin . Before he gave it to me he factory reset it . Now I can't sign in with my google account . When I type in my email and password it says unable to sign in to this account due to an unknown error please try again in 24hours . But I've tried it for 4 days now . Please help
