They're the company behind snapseed, the well liked photo editing app. I am foreseeing some better editing tools built into android and google+. Possibly a specialised google photo app although this seems unlikely. If niks stop making their very well liked professional editing tools like silver effects pro and colour effects pro though many, more serious photographers will be pretty upset.
