Android Central Question

When receiving a location or address by text on a regular Android phone you can click the link and go straight to maps. On my pixel 2 when I receive an address by SMS I can't just click it. I have to remember the address and punch it in manually. I can't just copy and paste a line either, it's copy the whole message not select what I want to copy. Such a pain for my profession since I use GPS all the time when my boss sends me addresses. Maybe there is a fix for this?

Making a URL clickable is a feature of some of the SMS apps. Not all of the apps do this.
Many times the basic, factory-installed apps are too basic.
Try a different SMS app. I like "textra".
