One UI 8

Well, goodbye Dex.... I do not like this update. They completely destroyed classic Dex mode.

I feel you. I dislike when Samsung removes or changes key features. While I really never use DEX, I used the hell out of the BT SPen and look what happened. I totally get it.

On the tab S9 Ultra, with the keyboard cover, DEX makes it like using a laptop (this was the intended purpose of my purchase was to have a "light" laptop with some features from Android).

With this change, I no longer have some of the capabilities without doing major work arounds. Since Samsung has done this, I will definitely keep this in mind when it comes time to replace the device (which may be sooner than later now).

The "desktops" they are using to replace are very limited. I can no longer snap apps to quadrants. Keeping an app open in the background doesn't work the way it used to (I mean by locking it open from the recents. Now, if you exit the app kept open using the "X" in the corner, it will terminate the app.... not cool Samsung).

Also, it would have been nice for them to warn before the update so I could have gotten screenshots to recreate what I lost. I had not seen any of the many videos on this subject until after I updated for some reason.

My Verizon S9+ 5G, just updated. I had checked early this morning with no luck. This afternoon I fired it up and a few minutes later the update appeared. In Arizona, USA.

After using the new interface for a few days, I'm not happy with it. To many changes. This "desktop" stuff is a royal pain, in my personal opinion.
Can we change back?
