Android Central Question

Is it possible that google app activity can come up that you been on something when your phone is turned off? I'm having a hard time trusting my partner after what happend In past we split up and put it behind his but I still worried so I have a little look sometimes he knows I ask for his permission first. Anyway he turns his phone off when hes at work and rings me on his breaks and turns it back off to save battery on his phone. I look quite frequently at this as it's a big reassurance for me this has very happend before but it says that hes been on some apps when his phone was supposedly turned off. I questioned him about it and hes absolutely adamant hes not turned it on. It's not the fact that hes been on it it's about the lieing has he has lied to me multiple times in the past so its hard for me to accept his word. So its it possible for example he goes into work and his phone switched off at 9:30 and turned it back on at 12:30 on his break but his activity has said he search in Google at 11:16 been and call and message also at this time aswell. Hes adment hes done it is it possible or is he lieing. I am currently pregnant and I don't want to have to worry and feel like hes lieing to me so its it possible thank you.

Looking at the Google activity can drive you nuts sometimes. We get questions all the time from people thinking they have been hacked because of some benign system level activity that showed up. I personally don't even pay attention to it.

Second, this problem sounds more like something that belongs in a couples counselling session, rather than on a public tech forum. Even if we could help with this specific question, that is not the sort of relationship I'd want to remain in from either perspective, and my guess is you'll always be suspicious no matter what unless you figure out how to resolve the larger relationship issue.

Google searches will populate when the same account across multiple devices search for something. So him being logged in a PC will show activity on his account with the phone off. If he has a chromebook with Google apps, like a game, it will sync.

I agree with mooncatt. This is an issue for either another genre of forum, or professional help.

He only got one device which is his phone he has It on his old phone but he logged out of the account and gave it to our son so it's not on there. He wouldn't go on text message and call on a laptop aswell we don't have one only phones.

Keep in mind that Google activity can happen on other devices as well, not just a phone. If a person's Google account is logged in on a computer or some other device, then that would also count.

But really, we can't continue this discussion. Continue to talk things out. Thread closed.
