Had the same issue with my (Sprint) Samsung Galaxy S II. Wasn't even aware that any update had been applied to Google+. Got off work, got home, went to check my email - 10 seconds later my screen went black. Couldn't get the phone to respond (hard lock). Pulled the back and pulled the battery. Let it sit for 120 seconds. Replaced the battery and let it boot. Retraced my steps to try and recreate the issue. This time the screen went black and 5 seconds later populated with the boot screen - and just hung there. Ugh. Pulled the battery and let it sit again. Replaced the battery and booted. Phone seems to work fine with all the 3rd party apps I've tried running EXCEPT Firefox. As soon as I bring up Firefox and browse to a website, Firefox does an epic fail and either closes itself or crashes the whole phone. If it doesn't crash the whole phone, Google+ issues a "has stopped working" dialog about every 15-30 seconds. Going to try uninstalling and re-installing Firefox (with a hard restart inbetween) to see if this fixes the issue. If not, Firefox or Google+ have some 'splaining to do.....
