Google app youtube links to just google.com in chrome.

I just started using my samsung galaxy s10. The problem is with the Google app. It doesnt open youtube links from the search to the youtube app. Instead it opens a new google.com page in chrom or any other browser. I tried uninstalling all browsers. Then it says found no apps to open the url. So i reset all app preferences and now its back to opening google.com in chrome. Please help.

Welcome to Android Central! I moved this from the Android Apps forum to the General Help forum since the former is intended for developers to promote their apps.

Open the Google app, tap More>Settings>General, and turn off the toggle for Open Web Pages in the App. Does that work?
