Google apps not working over WiFi

I recently bought a MotoG, and my Google apps are not working over Wifi.

They do seem to work on the Data connection, and other apps work on WiFi.

Any idea what can be done here?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 with US Cellular and have been having the same problem with Google apps for about a year. A phone restart sometimes fixes the problem. I've started having the problem with non Google apps lately such as Facebook and Instagram.
