Let's hope the annoying and debilitating bugs get fixed in the next update, whenever that will be. These issues cripple otherwise very nice hardware.

  1. Don't you just hate the annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnoying sticky key bug when using the bluetooth keyboard? (I don't have enough "n"s--I think it does 256 or whatever fills up the keyboard buffer before it gives up.) God help you if it's the backspace key.
  2. Widgets constantly disappear from the home screens. Some of the worst offenders: Weatherbug and CNN. Now they're here, now they're gone. Put another copy on another home screen, they appear again, but...
  3. Widgets stop updating. Worst offenders: Weatherbug, CNN, sometimes GMail, too

What's your favorite fix in waiting? The Xoom hardware is superb, but Honeycomb is still a little "beta" yet. Of course Gmail and other Google products are perenially labeled "beta."

Cheers.

I want the browser to be fixed. I want my music not to skip when I load something in that browser.

Universal search not to spaz out randomly.

Just fixed darn thing... Its been way too long... And only Google is getting the rep hurt by taking longer to get these things out. No announcements for fixes or nothing. The RIM playbook has had steady updates (4) since its introduction and weve had 1 update. To enable freaking buggy a** flash. I am thinking Honeycomb is more alpha than beta...

The on-screen keyboard is laggy most of the time. Why does Flash run better on my EVO than my Xoom? I NEED MORE tablet apps!! Make the volume louder. Make the media volume and the regular the same. Gmail and calendar have stopped syncing for some reason.

That is all for now.

Browser that doesn't crash and if it does will restart on last page viewed.

Better fix to browse in desktop mode (that should be default for tablets anyway). Many websites still show mobile version even if browsing in desktop mode.

I had the backspace key on my bluetooth keyboard stock and delete the paragraphs from an email.

I didn't touch the XOOM for about a week after that.

I cannot stand when I return to the homescreen from within an app and all of the icons/widgets have to reload.

Also, I cannot believe with a Tegra 2 processor Live Wallpapers on the Xoom cause lag throughout the OS. Scrolling slows down and everything. Please fix this!

I would like a way to leave a review for an app within the Android Market on Honeycomb. Add a Tablet apps section specifically for apps made for honeycomb.

Fix the lag throughout the whole OS. I have been using a Playbook side by side with the Xoom and the Playbook is faster and smoother in almost every way. It is kind of a shame seeing as how far behind RIM has been for so long.

Just some advice, if the key starts sticking, just hit the notification thingy to open it and stop whatever is happening. This happens to me rarely, but man the one time it was the backspace key I was so pissed. Luckly I thought of doing this before my entire paper was lost haha

1. The browser never crashes. If it crashes for you, you are doing something, because I can use the hell out of it, going ADD and having like 8 tabs open and flipping between them no problem.

2. Live wallpapers don't create lag, I use the ASUS water one.

3. The widgets reloading is after prolonged usage of a app and not going to the home screen, its called resource management. Shouldn't bug you that much.

LOL The browser is extremely unstable, especially with Flash installed. And the widgets reloading is a serious problem. I can open an app like Gmail and go back and forth between the homescreen and the app and the widgets will almost always blink and/or re-write.

Agreed on all three points.

I've had the WiFi since launch day and have not had a single browser crash, and I'm using my Xoom 3-4 hours a day.

I'm also running the Transformer water live wallpaper. Other than draining the battery at a pretty rapid clip, no issues whatsoever.

That being said, I'm only running a few widgets (ASUS weather, Tapatalk widget), so there's really nothing going on in the background that would cause any system lag.

I agree about the browser instability. It got worse after the Flash release. At least a few times a week the browser just closes completely when trying to load a page. I'm running a pretty stock setup with no widgets, and mostly Honeycomb-ready apps (except for Tweetcaster). There's nothing I'm doing that should cause this, besides using the Xoom and browser as they were intended.

I get a couple of browser crashes each day. Using the stock standard browser. All of a sudden it just vanishes. the you start it up and you are back at google start up page. Is starting to get annoying.

Here's to hoping we get an update this week at I/O. There was that one from Verizon that was supposed to start rolling out but the PDF was pulled. Maybe they're holding back for the Android 3.1 announcement at I/O. Fingers crossed!
