Is anyone else having assistant respond simply from somebody saying Google and nothing else?

Mine has been activating when anyone says Google.

No, Assistant only responds to my voice when I say " Hey Google " or " Ok Google ".

So have you retrained assistant to see if that fixes it ? If its still occurring ?

Mine responds from the locked and unlocked screen with just "Google"

Yes, I've also tried doing a full reset.

The most annoying part to it is seeing the phone respond when somebody says just Google with the hey, or okay.

All my phone has to hear it's Google for the assistant to activate. So annoying!

I read this post and then just said "google" to my phone, several times, and nothing happened. I tried saying the word with the same tone that I normally say "Hey Google". Nothing. As soon as I said "Hey Google", it popped right up with the Assistant page.

That is really strange!
