Hey Google Beep Notification

When I would access a Google assistant with "Hey Google", I would hear a beep that told me it heard me and I could speak.

I never hear that audio beep and if I can't see the screen, I don't know if it's waiting for me to speak.

I can't find any setting to toggle on this feature. Has it been removed?
