google assistant misbehaving

Hi guys i would like to ask a question. Google voice assistant supports Greek. In the Google search bar i press the microphone on the right and i speak Greek. The Google Assistant home button though for some reason doesn't?? The language settings in Google Assistant is changed to Greek. That setting should apply to both cases shouldn't it?? What's happening, can anyone help?
