Google assistant not working?

Anyone else having problems with the Google Assistant not working? Whenever I hold down the home button to activate Google Assistant it says the app has closed. I tried clearing the cache to see if that would help and it has not helped. Just wondering if anyone else is having these problems right now

it appears as though I got some Bigsby Updates this morning and ever since then it has not worked it says Google keeps stopping.

Can you explain why? Maybe if I understood why it's better, I might opt for bixby. As of right now I have disabled everything bixby because I can't help but feel like I don't want this crap on my phone. Someone please explain to me why I want this crap on my phone... Also, I'm starting to really tire of hearing the name bixby, but that's another issue entirely.

I got it working I cleared cache on bixby and uninstalled the latest Google update and reinstalled . all is well now. must have glitched something .

I have both working fine.

Bixby is a work in progress (Beta). It still has a long way to go to catch up to Google Assistant/OK Google.
