Google Assistant Responds Visually but not Verbally

On a Pixel 6 Pro when I ask, Hey Google, what's the temperature it shows me the temperature, but does not announce it. This used to work and was good for when I was across the room answers to time, temperature and other thing when I was busy and had my hands full. I have tried numerous setting and clear cache. I even did a retrain of my voice, nothing seems to resolve it. Any assistance in getting this fixed would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!!!

Just making sure you tried these two things in the Google app:

1. Settings, Google Assistant, Assistant voice & sounds, Speech output, Full
2. Settings, Voice, Spoken Results, On

Your problem happens to me from time to time and I find if I fix these two settings that usually does the trick.

I have checked those two settings numerous of time. However, I just check them again anyways, and yes they are both set correctly.
Google Assistant, Assistant voice & sounds, Speech output, is set to = Full.
Settings, Voice, Spoken Results, is set to = On
Any other settings or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmm...I guess you've tried force stop of the G app and turning the phone off and on?

I have a Pixel 6 with no issues with the Assistant and voice response. But being curious, I tried to check the settings on my phone. I couldn't find those 2 settings anywhere. Is the Pixel Pro 6, that much different than the Pixel 6?

Well this has started working again all on its own. I have been getting a lot of updated lately, so I can only guess that this solved the problem.

Don't worry, Google will do something to break it again next month.
