Google backup:Phone, google, exchange?

I'm trying to back up all my contacts in google. However, some of my current contacts in my Epic are set up under the Phone option. How do I switch it to google without having to write down the number, delete it from my phone and then re-enter the number this time choosing it as a google contact as opposed to a phone contact???

Go to contact list hit menu then import/export then u will export them to sd card then click import/export button again and and hit import and it will ask you to phone or to google that should work
