Ya I saw someone on Reddit posted that exact issue. That sucks! I will stick with my S8

You have to admit that as mistakes go, this is a wonderful one.

The quality control of this phone is ridiculous. Seems like to many people aren’t doing their jobs.

Oh wow! I didn't know that had been happening!

This is really unfortunate news for Google. But a lot of other manufacturers have had trouble or issues with their devices upon release (look at the Note 7); so hopefully Google can get everything together and still make this a great release. The Pixel 2 line is a great product line - it is too bad that this is happening.

True, but it seems like the Pixel 2 is just one issue after another. At least with the Note 7, it blew up and it was done Ha ha ha!

So far, from what I can recall.

- No headphone jack
- Weird high pitch noises
- Screen burn
- And now, being shipped with no OS.

But hey, some good news came out of this, it took the heat off the Essential phone release issues.
