Google bumper, can N4 still crack?

I just got mine and love it. I also have a matte Diztronic which covers the back.

Can the back of the N4 still crack if dropped with the bumper case?

The bumper doesn't cover the glass, so something could hit it directly, but even with a TPU case that covers the back, it could still break.

I love the bumper. What else could be added to the back to protect it.

nothing which doesn't really cover up the back, the bumper should be fine given it doesn't hit an object on an ankle that would touch the glass directly.
Only advice I can give is, avoid dropping your phone
