Google Calendar Not Receiving Invites

Hi All, this has probably been happening all along and I just realized it. I have the actual google calendar app that I downloaded on my S4. My google calendar is not receiving any new calendar invites on my S4. On my iphone, I would get a notification of any new events in the calendar app where I could go in and actually accept/decline and then it would add to my calendar. This doesn't work at all on the S4. Is this an S4 issue or is this an issue with android? Is there a way to make this work on the S4 similar to how it worked on the iphone? I did love that feature!

Well nevermind...had a stupid moment duh. The calendar on the iphone and mac is apple....and the invites I was getting were directly from another apple calendar, not an actual google calendar invite....duh...not gonna work on the S4!
