Google Calender - No alert?

My previous phone would ring and give me alert if there is something on my calender. I put few entries on my TBolt's google's calenders and i am not getting any reminders? Am I doing something wrong?

Open your Calendar > Menu > More > Settings > Reminder settings > then set what you want, Vibrate, select Ringtone, etc, etc, etc.
