Was wondering if anyone has gotten Google Camera to work on their Note 20. I'm getting my Ultra next week.

Would be interested to see if it's any good/better than stock app. Very interested in the astrophotography mode (assuming I can get out of the city.

Also... can we get Pixel call screening? I get 1-2 spam calls a day. Super annoying

I know the latest release of the call screening feature on U.S.pixels is completely automated... it decides which calls get ignored and which ones get through. I had some important calls blocked, so I turned it off. The older version let you decide whether to screen the call yourself...a much better system in my opinion. My wife still has that version on her Moto phone.

I've been watching over on XDA Developers for the Google/Pixel Camera App reworks... I know the one that I transferred over from my Note 9 just crashed immediately! Totally different camera, so understandable!!! I have not seen any activity as yet!

The Google Camera app I imported via Smart Switch from my Note9 has worked flawlessly on my Note 20 on the back camera, but the selfie camera doesn't work with it. Version 6.1.021.

HDR+ looks so much better than the Samsung stock camera.

Quick Google search indicates the Gcam has been ported over already but since I don't have a Note 20 can't download or verify it works.

You lose a lot of functionality going to Gcam from Samsungs camera app, still worth downloading if you like the Google look for basic point/shoot operation. Still need the Samsung app for pro mode and to access the telephoto and wide angle lenses. Good thing Anroid allows us to use multiple camera apps.

Considering the Note 20 can do a 30 second exposure(up from 10 on past phones), and has a larger image sensor, it may do better than the Google Astrophotography mode.

I was already running 7.2.010... that's probably why I crashed! It was a Beta...

I tried several gcam versions that came up in Google searches for the Note 20 Ultra and none worked - all crashed when trying to launch. The 6.1 version I had on my Note9 is the only one that works on my Note 20 thus far. Hopefully there will be a stable version soon as I like the flexibility to switch

I downloaded a 7.0.214 version last night from XDA and it's working nicely. (Still has the non-working front camera like v. 6 but back works pretty good)
