GOOGLE Chrome and Copy & Paste (facebook).

Why is it GOOGLE Chrome will not PASTE in facebook ... Firefox does and some other do, but Chrome (Google) and Android (Google) seem to have a real problem... I can copy & paste in "applications" but not in facebook so it seems to be browser issue.... I know its not exactly "facebook" becasue concept works on PC no matter what browser I use....

I have tried many "clipboard" applications & manages and all say the are "copying" but none seems to "paste"... One would think GOOGLE being the originator of both (browser and op system) would at least make them work together....

Or am I missing something here... No don't really want to root for just this and I really like Chrome except for this problem...

UPDATE...

After long agonizing time I finally did full back up to Kies and factory reset .... Many apps would not run after reset (kept getting annoying message I did not "own" apps) so time as spend getting apps working again, mainly apps purchases through Amazon... Many had to be downloaded from cloud and re-installed..

Anyway in process of testing "paste" on Chrome, Got notification of update to Chrome and installed it... Conundrum now is I don't know if factory reset or chrome update partially fixed Chrome "paste". By partial fix I mean it still will not "paste " by soft tap on cursor (blue blob) and bring up "paste" radio button, but you can put cursor where you want paste too happen and press CTRL+V and it will paste... For how long, who knows... Is it fixed, who knows....

Chrome actually did a proper "paste" today in facebook using proper radio button....

Same issue here Dale. My workaround is using Clipper. Copy and paste to clipper then to FB. Not a heavy fb user so it does not bother me to much. What i do not experience is no copy and paste in a windows environment.

Just to be clear, it was only Android Chrome and only facebook where I was experiencing all my grief...

Most reading stated I had two choices to fix problem, either factory reset or root device... Went factory reset route, but unsure if the was the fix with Chrome upgrade in middle of testing process (should have avoided upgrade until finished testing) ...

I will leave it at that...

Ok... I give up!.... Its back to not pasting in facebook, but it does copy to clipboard and will paste to other apps...
